Dr Ella Riley

Clinical Psychologist and Mindfulness Teacher

Expert support on the Northern Beaches

I am a clinical psychologist and mindfulness teacher with over 25 years of clinical experience. I was born and raised in rural England. After finishing school, I spent time travelling the world before settling in Australia in my early twenties, where I resumed my studies and have continued learning ever since.

I have completed seven years of specialised university training. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of New South Wales and a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Macquarie University. I also completed a Master's degree in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) at Oxford University, UK.

Clinical psychology is a specialist field which focuses on the development, prevention, and treatment of emotional and behavioural challenges. What sets clinical psychology apart is its foundation in scientific training, research, and clinical practice. It is dedicated to supporting individuals with a wide range of psychological concerns, including those experiencing the most severe mental health disorders.
